Even though KL is a vibrant city, we think about what to do on weekends and for dates other than the usual café hopping or going to the cinemas.

After some scrolling on TikTok, we stumbled across a video that has gone viral with more than 60,000 views by Magdelenna Maria.

Spontaneous weekend activity and the view was incredible! #whattodoinkl

We can see Maria with a friend at the KL Tower in the video. Although we always see the tower as part of the skyline, there are activities that you can do at (or rather around) the tower!

The activity mentioned in the viral video is the TW100 KL Tower Walk, where one walks on the tower’s edges (with safety gear, of course).

You will be hooked to a safety harness during the 30-minute walkabout around the tower, and the walkway is about 300 meters above ground where you can see the beautiful KL view right in front of your eyes.

According to the Menara KL page, the tickets for this TW100 are RM10 for both adults and kids on weekdays and RM15 for weekends (this offer is only until July 31). This special promotion is only valid for MyKad and MyKid holders. So don’t forget to bring your ICs!

Kl Tower Walk

In a phone call with WORLD OF BUZZ, a representative of the KL Tower has told us that the TW100 is open from 10am until 8pm. They have also said that it’s OK to do the tower walk in the evening. Imagine looking at the sunset and twilight at 7pm; that would be so pretty!

Kl Tower Walk 2

So if you are looking for things to do, maybe with a group of friends, with your family or for a date, you can give the TW100 a shot.
