Malaysian burger fans! Our dreams of sinking our teeth in delicious, juicy burgers from American fast-casual restaurant, Five Guys, might come true soon enough. At the moment, the nearest branch to us is located in Singapore, but who has the time to travel all the way there, am I right?

Dayummmmm… Can’t wait to put Five Guys in our mouths. Okay, that sounded wrong ? but you know what we mean. We don’t know about you.. but we are freaking excited for this! Faster open please!

Well, the hamburger gods have answered our prayers. The first Five Guys branch is set to be opened in Genting after local burger professionals, myBurgerLab, spotted a hoarding board with “FIVE GUYS COMING SOON!” on it while they were jalan-jalaning in Genting.

Five Guys Burger And Fries 2

If this is your first time hearing about Five Guys, basically it is an American fast-casual restaurant chain that focuses on hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries but the best part is you can customize your order with a lot of free toppings like mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, jalapeño peppers, green peppers, Bar-B-Que Sauce, hot sauce and A1 sauce.

Oh and they have something cheesy too, you know Malaysians love cheese on everything!

However, we do believe that the opening of the first branch in Malaysia might be stalled because of the current pandemic that we are in but we could be wrong. Can the power of the love of hamburgers overcome the pandemic? We hope so and we can’t wait to finally be able to taste those juicy burgers!
