It appears that more and more cool places of attractions are being established in Putrajaya. Just last month, they revealed their gorgeous Chinese theme traditional garden.

Although Putrajaya is well known for its amazing outdoor attractions, Klang Valley residents would still need to travel quite a distance to go to the nearest beach. Not anymore.

An intercity beach has been revealed in Putrajaya called ‘Pantai Floria’ which is located at Tapak Floria, Presint 4, Putrajaya.

The 100m artificial beach project is part of the Putrajaya Corporation’s (PPj) efforts to rehabilitate the Floria area as it was previously quiet for a long time from the lack of visitors.

PPj’s Chief Assistant Director of Lakes and Wetlands Environment, Wan Sabarudin Wan Ahmad, said that the opening of the ‘new -look’ Floria Coast began back in February 2022, in conjunction with Provincial Day and Chinese New Year.

The ‘Pantai Floria’ was opened to the public on Tuesday (1 March).

Reviews of the beach

Following its opening, plenty of Malaysians have shared their experiences of visiting the artificial beach via TikTok.

One visitor said that it even comes with showers as well as toilets.
