Chinese actress Fan Bingbing was recently appointed as Malacca’s International Tourism Ambassador for 2024, and work is being done to welcome the actress who will be landing in Malaysia soon.

The Malacca State Government has prepared a portrait mural of “Empress Wu” as a welcome gift, looking forward to her visit. The painting was recently completed, and Empress Wu is 1 of the most popular characters that Fan has played in her acting career.

“Is this the outcome, or there’s still some touch up to go?”

“It’s a little ugly.”
