Cash aid, lower fuel prices, an additional public holiday, and more had been unveiled in the Prime Minister’s special announcement this morning (July 23).
Many Malaysians are grateful for what PMX had in store for Malaysians, and soon after the announcement, Fahmi Fadzil stated that it shows how committed the government is to easing Malaysians’ burdens.
In his Facebook post today, Fahmi said that the aid, which will take effect soon, also proves that the government is aware of the current situation and of what the people are going through.

And the efforts to improve will not stop.
“At the same time, the MADANI Government will continue to strive to balance the need to strengthen the country’s financial position with the responsibility of safeguarding the well-being of the people.”
“The measures taken are the result of careful consideration and are based on the principles of social justice and economic sustainability.”
The Minister of Communications also said that the announced approach will not only provide relief to Malaysians but also stimulate growth and, at the same time, strengthen the country’s fiscal resilience in facing global uncertainties.

“This is the time for us to unite in heart and spirit, to cherish the blessings of independence, and to come together in contributing to the nation’s prosperity.”
In his post, Fahmi also thanked PMX for the announced approaches, which are expected to stabilise the country’s economy and ease Malaysians financially.
Earlier, PMX responded to the calls for him to step down as Prime Minister by insisting that he would not do so, as he had never taken anyone’s money. Despite his announcement this morning, the “Turun Anwar” rally, which is scheduled for this Saturday (July 26), is still happening.
What do you think of Anwar Ibrahim’s announcement today? Was it everything that you hoped for?
