There are also a few things that users should note before getting the pass, including:
- You can only make three active bookings at one time (to prevent pass holders from overbooking free flights that they might not board). However, you’ll be able to book more flights once your booked flight has flown.
- Free flights are applicable for direct travel only (one-way or return) and for international routes within Asean.
- Upon purchasing the Asean Explorer Pass, you can start redeeming your flights from 7 May onwards with the travel date starting from 21 May 2024.
- Free flights refer to zero base fares which do not include airport taxes and other charges.
