Arguments are sometimes inevitable in a relationship and sometimes, all you need is attention from your partner to “soothe” things down. However, putting yourself or others in danger is not the way to go.

Just recently, a video that shows a Malaysian couple arguing in public has gone viral on social media. In the 11 second clip that was reshared by the Facebook page MySelangor, the man is seen trying to lift the woman up, before the woman freed herself and ran towards an oncoming car, pretended to get hit by the vehicle. She marched towards the car with her arms wide open, as if she was welcoming the accident.

Fortunately, the driver managed to step on the brakes and fortunately, the clip shows no one getting injured. The man then immediately walked towards his partner and brought her away from the scene.

The couple may be having a hard time, but poor driver as he/she would have gotten a shock of their life!

Chances are, if a video goes viral on the internet, it won’t take long for the matter to get attention from the police. After receiving reports about the dispute from the public, PDRM in KL managed to locate the woman and she was immediately brought to the police station to assist in the investigation.

The 32-year-old woman was remanded for 4 days before she was released last night (July 31).

In a statement, Datuk Mohd Shuhaily, the KL police chief also said that the incident took place at the intersection of Jalan Imbi headed to Kampung Pandan in KL. It happened in middle of July but the video has only circulated on social media recently.

Ganas

PDRM has also applied for another remand which will end of August 3, and the case is currently being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for causing mischief.

We hope the pair will be able to resolve their fight when the case is settled.
