An elevator full of people experienced a 4 floor drop at a hotel in Johor Bahru earlier this week.
Among the individuals who had to experience the horrifying situation was a baby.
Kef Tan took to his TikTok account to showcase a video of people climbing out of the fallen elevator after prying the doors open. He, too, were among the people inside.
The Singaporean tourist wrote, “Can you imagine how’s the feeling of plunging down from Level 4 all of a sudden? It’s horrifying and it’s nothing like in the movies, there is no split second for you to take any actions.”
“It happened so fast and it’s just a hard stop, split second a full drop! BANG!”
This allegedly happened at the KSL Resort, Johor Bahru.
Thankfully, no one was injured from the ordeal, including the infant.
According to Kef, the emergency bell button in the elevator was not functioning and the victims were stuck in there without assistance. That was when the people banded together to somehow successfully pry open the elevator doors.
“A baby was in there too. Pitch black and the best part, the bell didn’t work. Handphone zero reception! 10 minutes seemed like forever in there until everyone agreed to forcing (the doors) open!”
In the video showcased, victims could after that be seen climbing out of the elevator that was stuck between floors, through the forced open doors.
