Drunk Man Molests 21yo Woman Sleeping in Cheras Condo, Claims He Entered Wrong Room

A woman who was asleep in her rented room at a Cheras condominium was molested by a drunk man who entered her room.

The 21-year-old victim said she was shocked to find the 24-year-old man on top of her. Out of fear, she screamed before the man claimed he had entered the wrong bedroom. She then contacted the unit’s agent before calling the police.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed the incident, stating that PDRM had received a report and that the suspect has been arrested.

The suspect was under the influence of alcohol

According to Datuk Fadil, the victim lodged a report at 11:20 AM on Thursday (1 January), the same morning the assault occurred. When arrested, the suspect, who works at a video game store, was still under the influence of alcohol.

The suspect was reportedly visiting his friend at the unit before the assault took place.

He is currently under a four-day remand to assist with the investigation and is expected to be released on 5 January, as reported by Harian Metro.

 

The case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for assault or use of criminal force against a person with intent to outrage modesty.
