Truth be told, there has been a lot of negativity surrounding the country of late, with non-stop politicking from certain political figures, the suggestion to declare a political emergency and many more have not made Malaysia a nice place to be at the moment.
Where has the sense of togetherness gone?
Taking to Facebook Health Director-General Tan Sri Noor Hisham Abdullah mentioned the importance of fighting Covid-19 and not each other.
In his status, he writes, “We need unity and togetherness to fight this war against Covid-19, not against each other.”
“Our frontliners have been enduring on the ground for the last 10 months 24/7.”
“Mental and physical fatigue is setting in. Some are prepared to throw in the towel.”
“Please learn from PRN Sabah and not repeat it.”
The Facebook status, which has garnered more than 20k likes and 4.9k shares witnessed netizens rising up to the occasion and sharing their thoughts on the matter.
