If you’re always on a budget and don’t wanna spend too much on things that you need, then Mr DIY is most probably your go-to store for those miscellaneous items you need at home. Well, if that is true, here’s some good news for you!

Mr DIY is now online! Yaaass!!

Their website, mrdiy.com.my, now allows shoppers to shop conveniently in the comfort of their own home, office, or anywhere you want.

With the company having more than 550 physical Mr DIY stores across the Asia- Pacific region, the online store offers 20,000 product varieties across nine departments – household, hardware, electrical, car accessories, toys, stationery, gifts, sports as well as jewellery and cosmetics.

So instead of getting out of your house to purchase that light bulb you need for your dining room, you can get it sent right to your doorstep!

According to The Star, shopping online allows customers to take advantage of the website’s four key features:

1. Free Shipping

Malaysians just love free things!

2. The Mr DIY Express Feature

Additionally, if you would like the item(s) to be delivered within 24 hours, there is the Mr DIY express feature, but a small fee would be charged for those within Klang Valley.

3. The Collect @ Mr DIY feature

Andy Chin, Mr DIY marketing and e-commerce head said that the platform has hit yet another milestone for the company, as they were keeping with the times and a pioneer in the way business was conducted in this region.

“With the e-commerce platform, we will be able to cater to a diversified market of tech-savvy individual, who never had time or interest to visit physical stores,” he said during the launch at Intercontinental Hotel.

“It also provides a solution for shoppers with limited mobility and those who need to buy in bulk or make urgent purchases.”

He added that this online store is one of the two achievements in the company’s four major goals in 2018, with the other being the opening of its first flagship store in MidValley Megamall.

“We will be expanding our reach to Singapore and the Philippines in the third and fourth quarter of this year respectively.”

“Also, we are looking to open 300 new stores across Asia-Pacific including Thailand, Brunei and Indonesia,” he said, adding that the retail chain is targeting RM1bil in revenue for Malaysia this year.

Also present at the launch was Mr DIY’s brand ambassador Adibah Noor, a familiar face in the retailer’s advertisements since 2017.
