“Disgusting!” – Police Investigate Viral Video of Worker Cleaning Pots with a Broom in Pahang Eatery

The Lipis District Council (MDL) is currently investigating after a video showing a man, who’s believed to work at a restaurant, cleaning pots with a broom started circulating online.

According to Sinar Harian, in the clip, the guy was seen washing pots behind what’s believed to be a restaurant in Lipis, making it look like he was just going about his usual routine.

Netizens are slamming the worker’s actions

The 2-second video was posted on the Lipis Children’s Community Facebook page around 5 PM, and it sparked a wave of anger and criticism from online users who called the man’s actions “disgusting“.

Many are calling for an investigation by the authorities to ensure the safety and health of users in this area, highlighting their concerns and the need for proper oversight.

Police have yet to release a statement

However, despite the rising concerns and the increasing number of views on the clip, the local authorities have yet to release any official statement regarding this incident, nor have they confirmed if it is an old recording or not.

The actions of the man involved in the video have sparked significant community concern, raising alarms about hygiene and food safety in the area, as residents worry about the potential implications for their health and well-being due to such behaviour.
