Penang businesswoman and influencer, Kieda, recently caused another controversy after jokingly blaming her husband for her herpes diagnosis, which she filmed during her visit to the clinic.

Social media users found the joke inappropriate, especially when made publicly. Malaysian actor and filmmaker, Michael Ang, also shared his take on the viral matter, and he was also not fond of how many people seemed to enjoy airing their dirty laundry.

“Everyone is crazy and feels zero embarassment.”

In his Instagram post @michaelang38 on Saturday night (June 21), Michael was baffled by the extent some people would go just to make headlines. During her visit to the clinic, after confirming the herpes diagnosis, Kieda jokingly pointed at her husband and said,

“His private part is sour. It must be his lips because we kissed a lot, right?”

Michael dubbed the statement “disgusting” and wondered if Kieda felt a hint of embarrassment at all, even calling her “desperate” for making the private moment public.

“For all we know, it was merely content but judging from the looks of it, I think she was dignosed with herpes for real.”

“I don’t know how many layers of foundation she had applied on her face but the blisters were still clearly visible.”

Michael also reminded others to stay away from people who joke about matters like this because of “their stupidity”. As of the time of writing, Kieda herself, who runs a dessert business in Penang, has yet to respond to criticisms.

Kieda recently visited the clinic with her husband after noticing blisters on her lips, which the doctor confirmed were due to herpes before prescribing an antiviral cream for her.
