A Malaysian actor from Miri, Sarawak, has become a proud representative of his home country after joining the cast of Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton, which is now in its fourth season.
Zheng Xi Yong, who plays Lord Barnaby, shared his excitement on Instagram by posting a photo with fellow cast members, including Isabella Wei (who plays Posy Li), Yerin Ha (Sophie Baek), and Jessie Baek (Mary Ann Hallewell).

As one of the new faces introduced this season, Zheng recalled how much he “adored” his time working on Bridgerton and expressed how much it meant to him to be part of the production.
“Dearest reader, this is now a Posy Li stan account. Absolutely adored my time on @bridgertonnetflix and everyone who I got to meet and work with! What a dream to be part of it all,” he wrote.

In another post, he was also spotted alongside Gracie McGonigal, another new cast member who currently plays the young maid Hazel.

IMDb reported that 32-year-old Zheng has also appeared in other hit movies, including Greta Gerwig’s award-winning Barbie, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, Sandokan, Silo, and more.
For those who don’t know, Bridgerton is based on the best-selling romance novels by Julia Quinn. The eight-part drama adapts her popular Bridgerton series, according to the BBC.
The show was produced by TV powerhouse Shonda Rhimes, who’s also behind hits like Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal.
