Motorists spotted a driver in China transporting a pig’s carcass on his truck in the most bizarre way. According to Daily Mail, the driver had strapped a pig’s carcass to his truck and was transporting it to the home of his son’s future-in-laws as an engagement present.

The driver had initially planned to place the pig inside the truck bed, but his son’s fiancée’s family insisted that it would look better if the pig was tied to the top of the vehicle instead. So, that’s what he did.

Little did he know that the manner in which he tied the rope around the pig’s body became the talk of the town that day. This is because the pig was tied to the truck with its legs sprawled around the truck’s body with a few pieces of red string tied around and under its legs.

Doing so had made the dead pig look like it was wearing a “G-string”.

Videos of the bizarre moment were posted on Chinese social media where they went viral. The police shared the video to urge drivers not to overload their vehicles and warned that the driver had, in fact, violated the traffic regulations by putting the pig on the top of the vehicle.

Netizens, however, were amused by the way the pig was fastened.

Some mentioned that the driver was probably trying to show off his wealth by displaying the pig for the public to see.

‘This is flaunting wealth in broad daylight,” the netizen said.

They said this probably in view of the rising prices of pork in China after the country was hit by African swine fever.

Another netizen pointed out that it was folklore in some parts of China to send nuptial gifts like this.

“This is the requirement of the bride price in some places. They need to send a whole pig and bind it near on top of the car with red strings,” they said.

Well, this certainly is one interesting way to transport animals. Some might find it disgusting while others might find it a little funny. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments below.
