When you work as the local authority, it’s only normal for people to end up not liking you as sometimes, you would have to shut down small businesses and vendors for not having licenses, blocking public facilities and more.

Among the local authorities that get the most hate is the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL), which has apparently now angered the wrong person.

The Viral Stories took to their Facebook page to showcase how a ‘voodoo doll’ had appeared at Dataran Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur, with “DBKL” written on it, which means that the humanoid doll is meant to target the local authority.

They wrote, “Sending curses to DBKL?”

In the images showcased, the ‘voodoo doll’, which appears to be wrapped in yellow cloth and stuck with needles, was placed at a location where DBKL tape could be seen.

Considering how often DBKL raids locations to catch and close down unlicensed vendors, we do not doubt that the DBKL tape indicates they had a recent operation there.

Do you think that DBKL will be affected by the ‘voodoo doll’? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
