Following the incident where a KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital (KPJ Klang) staff member deliberately walked all over and purposely destroyed a Deepavali-themed kolam, many have been outraged by his behaviour.

But, what does the creator of the kolam think of this situation?

KPJ Klang staff member, Nathan De Romeo, who is also the Malaysian man who had put in hard work towards creating the kolam, took to his Facebook page to call for Malaysians to basically let the incident go and to let love win, especially now that action has been taken against his fellow staff member.

He wrote, “Hi everyone, this is Nathan. I am the creator of the viral Deepavali kolam at KPJ Klang and I am one of the staff there too. First and foremost, I would like to thank every one of you who spoke up on this kolam issue, regardless of religion and race.”

“For your kind information, our hospital management and higher authorities have taken the appropriate action on the irresponsible behaviour of the related staffs. Therefore, I kindly request that you guys NOT make the issue viral anymore. Let us stay united and peaceful in this multiracial country. Thank you once again.”

“Love and peace to all Malaysians.”

We genuinely hope that all Malaysians take his message to heart and only spread love and tolerance.

Truly wise words from an obviously wise man.
