Wearing face masks have become a necessity for everyone especially in the new norm in place. Though many are already complying to the new law, there are still those out there who are somewhat stubborn to the new change.

Taking to Twitter, netizen @samkimasia shared a story of how a famous coffee outlet in South Korea became the latest location of Covid-19 infection.

“A person sitting under an air conditioner infected 27 other with Covid-19 at a cafe in South Korea, but none of the employees who were wearing masks got the virus.”

Capturing international media attention, Reuters reported that the spread came as a result of customers not wearing masks and the fact that fresh air may not have been properly circulated.

A respondent shared, “What happened at the cafe was much expected.”

“They should have advised customers to wear masks and drawn fresh air more often.”

The coffee chain has since said that it would enhance hygiene rules across all store, recommending customers to wear face masks and delay promotional campaigns to help limit the crowd.

Still feel wearing a face mask is troublesome? Let’s just get on with it, shall we?
