Fate sometimes has a funny (and mysterious) way of bringing people together.
Just recently, a Malaysian woman, Nurul shared on her TikTok @eqeen_87 about her mother’s 2nd marriage which took place in Ipoh.
We must say it’s a one-in-a-million kind of fate.
Nurul’s stepfather had a crush on her mother way back when they were both in high school. 50 years later, they both reunited and tied the knot!
What’s meant to be yours will ALWAYS be yours.
“Mutual feelings in the past but…”
Nurul said that back then, her mother was only in Form 2 and her stepfather was in Form 5. Both of them shared mutual feelings for each other but age was a stumbling block.
“My grandmother said it was too early for my mother to get into a relationship. She wanted her to focus on her studies at the time.”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Nurul said her biological father passed away about 7 years ago in 2016. As for her stepfather, his wife passed away in 2018 due to cancer.
It was a dream that prompted her stepfather to reach out to her mother again after so many years.
“Both of them used to stay in the same kampung, so my stepfather approached the villagers and asked about her,” she explained.
Nurul also told WORLD OF BUZZ that it didn’t take them long to get to know each other again and made a decision for their relationship to last forever.
“He met my mother again in August this year. A month later, they both decided to get married and and set a date for the ceremony.”

There is no right time or age for you to get married. Things may not work out at the moment but no one knows what fate has in store for you. It could be the right person at the wrong time but if it’s meant to be, you’ll cross paths with each other again.
