Couple Caught For Alleged Adultery Claim That They Were “Just Eating Satay” In The Car

A couple was caught in Kulim, Kedah for allegedly committing adultery in a car parked in front of a house.

When religious authorities, Pejabat Agama Daerah Kulim (PADK) caught them, they said that they were “just eating satay” in the car, reported Harian Metro.

Religious authorities had said that they were patrolling the area and saw that the car was parked in a dark area. They had received information from the public who said that they see the couple very frequently in that area.

Upon further inspection, they saw that the car windows were fully-covered with sunshades. When the religious authorities questioned them on their relationship, they were unable to produce any documentation and said,

“We weren’t doing anything, we were just eating satay.”

It was revealed that the 52-year-old man has a wife and three children. The 26-year-old woman is working in the same company as the man.

This case will be investigated under Section 25 of the Syariah Criminal Offences (Kedah Darul Aman) Enactment 2014 where if found guilty, they can be fined of up to RM3,000 or two years in jail or both.
