Controversial Open-Micer Who Performed At Crackhouse Comedy Club Will Be Charged In Court Tomorrow With BF

The controversial open mic in TTDI Crackhouse Comedy Club recently has stirred a lot of hate and debate. As of today (July 12), things are not looking good for her as she will have to reap what she sows.

The open-micer and her boyfriend were both detained by the police on Saturday night (July 9) and Sunday (July 10), respectively, and the former was remanded for 3 days. Things do not end there as the pair is expected to be charged in court tomorrow (July 13).

The open-micer, Siti Amirah will be charged under Section 298A of the Penal Code for inciting disharmony, division, hatred or malice on religious grounds. The male suspect, believed to be Siti’s boyfriend will be charged under Section 223 Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 for misusing the internet by uploading the video of her partner’s act on the stage.

PDRM’s secretary, Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said that her team had sent the investigation papers to the Attorney General Chambers of Malaysia (AGC) and they have received orders to charge the couple.

In the meantime, DBKL has suspended the operating license of TTDI Crackhouse Comedy Club following the circulation of the video.
