Working parents arguably have the hardest job of both raising their kids but also carrying out their employment duties to sustain their family. However, there is something to be said about parents who are able to find a way to amalgamate these tasks and make it both that much easier.

Such was the case for a couple who run a roadside stall in Kajang called Pondok Minang, where one of their waiters has been getting quite the attention on social media for being the cutest server ever!

Oh, did we forget to mention that the server’s name is Malek, a 2-year-old child of the couple?

In a TikTok video shared to the official page of the eatery @pondokminang.hq, Malek’s father, and one of the operators of the stall, narrated his son’s periodic duties as a hardworking employee of the establishment.

“From a much younger age, he’d always follow us to our business. He paid attention to everything we did, such as taking orders, counting the total bill at the table, serving drinks, and so much more. Malek will be the successor of the Pondok Minang legacy,” said Malek’s father in the video.

Carrying on, the man also stated that Malek will even help the cook by preparing orders occasionally. At one point, Malek even spoke to a few customers. Providing some context to the situation, Malek’s dad did reveal that this is only Malek’s routine when he is on school holiday, and not a daily occurrence.

“Everything he counts is actually accurate. Some people don’t believe that he is able to do so. But thankfully, Malek is clever and does not like to be forbidden to do things. He wants to do it himself even though his handwriting is difficult to read. But the calculation is all correct nonetheless,” added Malek’s dad in the video.

Inviting Malaysians to come and check out their stall, Malek’s dad said customers will get the opportunity to meet Pondok Minang’s most beloved employee.

Going wild for Malek in the comments section, many Malaysians expressed how cute he was, while also encouraging the boy in his duties.

A few people also mentioned how they’d love to meet Malek one day, with one user saying that the last time he came to visit the stall, Malek was unfortunately ill and clung to his father the entire time.

“Oh he’s a salesman for the eatery. May you continue to reach success Malek!” wrote one user in a light-hearted manner.

Nevertheless, a few people couldn’t help but make jests at the situation, saying that Malek will have an ample amount of work experience under his belt by the time he starts applying for jobs.

“When he’s big and starts going for job interviews, he’ll be saying that he has more than 20 years of working experience,” kidded one user under the video.
