If you’re like, WHO IS THIS DNCE? WHY NEVER HEARD OF THEM BEFORE???

Well, does the song “Cake by the Ocean” sound familiar? Of course it does, and yes, that super popular music is by them. You must be living under a rock if you don’t know that song!

DNCE is made up of Joe Jonas, JinJoo Lee (guitarist), Cole Whittle (bassist keyboardist), and Jack Lawless (drummer) and they have consistently delivered hit after hit, spreading party vibes worldwide.

The band’s quirky name also has its own hilarious reason for why it’s spelt so weirdly. According to Joe Jonas, ‘DNCE’ is the next best thing for “when you’re too drunk to spell dance”.

On the other hand, they also chose this quirky spelling because it is related to being less self-conscious.

“It’s incomplete, it’s imperfect, but it’s still all right,” says JinJoo Lee.

Their live shows are known for being highly energetic, bringing a fun party atmosphere wherever they go.

On describing what a DNCE show is like, Joe Jonas shared, “We really want to make this feel like a party.

“It’s like going to some club in Europe at 4am and everybody’s all sweaty and looks like they’re in the Village People.

“We’re all from different worlds, but we’re all here together.”

Woah, sounds lit! And you can bet it’ll be more awesome to be part of it.
