Aww, this is so heartwarming!

A bunch of students who learnt that their beloved teacher wasn’t paid for two months managed to collect some money to compensate his unpaid salary, as reported by Siakap Keli.

According to the teacher, Bruno Rafael Paiva, he was substituting for a pregnant teacher and his name was not included into the payroll list because of bureaucracy. He was quoted as saying,

“I tried everything that I could (to get paid) but bureaucracy made it difficult for me.”

Upon finding out about Bruno’s financial predicament, his thoughtful students started a fund and they managed to collect RM1,500 by using their own money. The video of the students handing over the money to Bruno went viral online after it was shared by him via Facebook. According to the location tag in the post, this incident happened in Brazil.

In the video, Bruno can be seen tearing up as he was touched by his students’ small and sweet gesture. Not only that, the students then promptly got up and hugged their overwhelmed teacher. Awwh! :’)

Following that, Bruno only had nice things to say about his kind-hearted students. He shared,

“Like me, they are all just students who still believe in the nation’s education system. They also still believe in loving and having compassion for another person. They all respect and love their educators.”

Such sweet words!

The students’ move to collect money for their unpaid teacher was certainly a very sweet gesture to show their appreciation and love for him. Kudos to the students for being so thoughtful!
