This just goes to show you can never underestimate someone’s abilities, regardless of their background!
At 8am on Tuesday morning (30th May), a multi-storey carpark in Woodlands, Singapore was consumed in smoke after a car caught fire.
According to The Star, the car’s owner was trying to start the engine when she saw smoke coming out of the bonnet, prompting her to get out immediately.
The next thing she knew, the car suddenly caught fire!
In a Facebook video uploaded by a user named Hanis, many people were starting to panic since fires like this usually result in explosions.
However, thanks to the quick thinking of three cleaners who were nearby, they remained calm and sprayed water straight into the fire to subdue the flames before they got any bigger.
Wah, respect!
Shortly after that, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived at the scene to take over putting out the fire with foam extinguishers and water.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident and the fire was put out before it caused any severe damage.
Those heroic cleaners better be getting a promotion or a raise! They deserve it!
