What’s the one thing that gives Malaysians the ick? It’s a proven fact that 7 out of 10 guys are afraid of a specific lizard known as the ‘cicak’.

Heroes can come from unexpected places. As shown in a TikTok post by @garlicrice_11, he and his friends are spotted driving in their car, only to realize that a lizard is casually chilling on the driver’s side.

For a brief second, the video actually looked like they were all in full-on panic mode, which made the situation ten times funnier.

In a short interview with WORLD OF BUZZ, Aizad, the unlucky passenger who took one for the team, safely removed the lizard while the others were busy screaming in terror.

Aizad also told WORLD OF BUZZ,

“I was the designated person to get rid of the lizard. Everyone else was busy screaming”, to which he completed the rescue operation in mere seconds.

Netizens of course, couldn’t help but make comments about what they think of the incident.

“I’ve encountered it before too, I had to put my hazard light on and get myself out of the car. It’s a good thing no one was around at the time.”

“If it was me, my car wouldn’t be moving anymore.”

“If it was me, I’d probably be in hysteria! I have a phobia of lizards.”

All in all, there’s a silver lining to all of this and something to learn from; make sure to have at least one friend who could help you in a crisis. And when we say crisis, we mean in the event of another ‘cicak’ incident.
