What tastes better than Baskin-Robbins ice cream? The free ones of course!
As we all know, September 16 is Malaysia Day and Baskin-Robbins has decided to reward all Malaysians with a free scoop of ice cream in conjunction with ‘Free Scoop Night 2017’.
Between 8pm and 10pm, you can get a free junior scoop ice cream at any of the Baskin-Robbins outlets nationwide! However, you must come in with the most patriotic outfits you can find such as national sports jerseys.
Alternatively, you can also show up in outfits that best represent our beloved country! This is to celebrate and express gratitude towards our national athletes for their exceptional performance in the recent SEA Games 2017. Make sure your #ootd is on-point!
In case you didn’t already know, Malaysia emerged as the overall winner of the SEA Games with 145 gold medals in total!
“Not only will Malaysians get to celebrate the unity and diversity of our great nation with our 31 ice cream flavours on this very special day – but also the many great milestones our Malaysian athletes achieved recently,” Baskin-Robbins Malaysia president Datuk S.Y. Cheah said.
This isn’t the first time Baskin-Robbins is treating Malaysians to free ice cream. In 2012, the world’s largest ice cream chain did the same thing after Malaysian athletes performed superbly in the London Summer Olympics that same year.
The response was so overwhelming that customers queued over 40km nationwide and 68,000 junior scoop ice creams were given out!
So guys, don’t forget to dress up, and show up at any Baskin-Robbins outlets between 8pm and 10pm to receive your free junior scoop ice cream! Happy Malaysia Day guys!
