BaseUp, a wellness brand developed under Tohtonku Sdn Bhd (“Tohtonku”), officially launches in Malaysia today, redefining modern health with its philosophy, “Wellness Starts at the Base.”

This launch marks a significant milestone for Tohtonku as it expands into the wellness and health category, with more than 60 years of experience and a strong range of resources to address the evolving needs of today’s consumers.
What is BaseUp?

BaseUp addresses one of today’s most prevalent challenges — stress, often driven by over-digitalisation — which may impact multiple aspects of health, including skin appearance, gut health, hormonal balance, and sleep quality.
This growing concern is reflected in national data. Recent reports indicate that 54.4% [1] of Malaysian adults are overweight or obese — the highest in Southeast Asia—while 33.8% [2] report symptoms of insomnia.
