According to The Star, Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak recently stated that Malaysians need a welfare-oriented government like Barisan Nasional (BN), instead of having a group of political parties that are indecisive, like the opposition.
Prime Minister Najib Razak said this at the launch of the state-level 8th Village Street Light (LJK8) programme in Kampung Pasu yesterday (20th June).
The prime minister also stated that BN has a solid plan to improve the country’s economy and national security, and has also taken care of the people’s welfare regardless of their race and religion.
He stated about 600,000 people from Kedah managed to receive RM490 million in BR1M payments and that the federal government also contributed RM250 million on street light installments throughout the country since 2003.
“We are far ahead of the Opposition, which idolises DAP and they can’t even come to a simple decision on whom should they nominate among them as the prime minister.”
“Even PAS has ended its political cooperation with the Opposition after it was bullied by the other parties.”
His statement comes a month after news about him possibly calling for elections after Hari Raya widely circulated online.
As of now, it is still unclear when the exact date of the upcoming GE-14 will be, but since Raya is just around the corner, we think it may come very soon!
