Although we are enjoying a bit of freedom with the CMCO, we do, however, need to still take the SOPs seriously as new cases are still rolling in daily. The hardest things to stay from are those delicious offerings by the numerous fast food outlets that we have here. Fortunately, most of these outlets do provide delivery, be it, their own or with Grab and Foodpanda.

Hence to ensure everyone stays home, A&W Malaysia has released a notice on their official page, urging all Malaysians to order fast food and get it delivered to their doorstep. What’s great about the notice is that A&W Malaysia is not only promoting themselves but also their competitors like Mekdi, Kepci, Burger King and basically all the gang! The statement wrote,

“With the surge in Covid-19 cases, now is the right time for you to duduk rumah and enjoy your favourite meals with loved ones while still staying indoors. So, when you’re thinking about that crispy fried chicken from KFC or that juicy big mac from McDonald’s , that yummy slice of pizza from Domino’s Pizza or Pizza Hut, we encourage you to order online and they’ll deliver straight to your doorstep! We at ANW might not have ‘Abang & Kakak Rider’ to deliver our AW-someness just yet, but where we’re from, friends are family.”

Kudos to A&W Malaysia for being such a good sport but the main takeaway (see what I did there) here is for all of us to stay at home for the time being if there’s nothing important to do outside as we can always have our favourite food delivered to us.
