We’ve seen so many cases of people wearing pink home quarantine bands out in public to a point where our authorities are considering using smart bands to keep these people under surveillance.
Yet, there are still some of them out there that just refuse to follow simple instructions.
The Penang Kini Facebook page took to their account to showcase a girl queuing up outside a bank in Raja Uda, Bagan, Penang with a home quarantine wristband.
Di Maybank Raja Uda, Bagan sebentar tadi.. Adakah benar seperti didakwa?Harap-harapnya wanita tersebut bukan dalam kuarantin lah dan tiada apa-apa..

They wrote, “At the Maybank at Raja Uda, Bagan just now. Is this true? We hope that this woman isn’t actually under quarantine and is healthy.”
They also shared an image of the explanation, where it was stated that the woman tried to enter the bank but ended up unable to and left.
“This happened today at about 11am, when I was queuing up outside the bank, she was in front of the person in front of me. It took me a while to notice. When it was her turn to go in, she couldn’t and went missing. I didn’t have the time to tell the security guard. After about 10 minutes, I entered the bank and saw someone telling the guard that a person with the pink band entered the bank. I’m not sure if she came back, but this is happening in front of my eyes for the first time, it’s shocking to see,” they explained.
Just as the Malay saying goes, ‘kerana nila setitik rosak susu sebelanga‘, it only takes one infected person to potentially infect a lot of others.
Which is why it’s best if we all do everything we can to cooperate with the procedures set in place by the government to ensure our safety against the Covid-19 virus, and that includes staying at home when necessary.
