RFID is more of a bane than a boon for Malaysian drivers, ever since its introduction to the masses.

With long lines, constant detection errors and the general hassle, this is another story of one user who had just about enough of the RFID system.

Here is a video that went viral on social media yesterday. Viewer discretion is advised.

Taking place at the Cheras-Kajang toll, this Myvi driver thought it was just another day at the toll booth, apparently expecting a smooth journey before stopping in his tracks because of the faulty RFID detection system.

In the video, we can see the driver reversing and forwarding his vehicle several times, before powering through the booth, taking out its boom gate.

Clearly perturbed, netizens commenting on the video mentioned just how relatable this driver’s action was when dealing with RFID problems.

Let’s hope that this will not be a sample solution for people to follow. Let’s hope that people in charge of RFID will fix it.
