Crimes against children have been on the rise these days and there is no sign of these heinous acts decreasing anytime soon.

Recently in a video that has gone viral all over Facebook, a man was seen apparently trying to kidnap a little girl at a mosque. Wah, in a holy place also can do such thing ah?

As reported by Sinar, the man was seen to have pulled her and covered her mouth.

However, a woman believed to be the mother of the victim, managed to interfere and saved the girl but instead of running away, the suspect just stood by nonchalantly and was muttering something to the mother.

Sinar reports that the police are investigating the matter but not as a kidnapping case at the moment.

Generally, netizens were shocked that the act can happen at a holy place like the mosque. There is nothing wrong in being extra cautious when it comes to our children’s whereabouts. Like it or not, parents would have to face the challenge of making should their children are always within their sight.

For members of the community, it does not take much of our effort to also play a role in ensuring the safety of the children.

We can go about our daily lives while still invest some attention to be on the lookout for any undesirable acts involving children. Together we can create a safer environment for them.
