Weekends in the city might be very repetitive and boring for some so, the best way is to go do new activities on select weekends.
If you’re one of those who are looking for things to do, why not check out Taman Tasik Shah Alam / Shah Alam Lake Gardens to participate in some water activities?
The Shah Alam City Council has posted a video of the activities offered there on Twitter and we can see that there are quite a few selections with quite a few being family-friendly.
Taman Tasik Shah Alam kini menyediakan pelbagai pilihan aktiviti sukan air yang menarik bagi anda yang sukakan ketenangan dan keindahan alam. Antara aktiviti sukan air yang disediakan seperti kayak, ’canoe’, ’paddle boat’ dan ’cruise boat’.

They are a family paddleboat (RM50 per hour), paddle boat (RM30 per hour), cruise boat (RM10 for adults and RM6 for children from 2 to 11 years old), a single kayak (RM10 per hour) or a double kayak (RM20 per hour) and canoe (RM15 per hour).
These water activities will be sure to give you the workout that you need while also letting you enjoy the lake’s surroundings and nature.
The operator for the water sports activities is known as Antan Bantura Watersport and they are open from 8.30 am till 7.15 pm from Monday to Sunday.
