Sometimes, things may NOT go our way but there is never a reason for us to get violent on someone.

A Malaysian man in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan was recently beaten out of jealousy after going out with another man’s wife. The 50-year-old victim was beaten with a stick that the suspect randomly picked on the road.

The victim’s windshield was also damaged after it was hit by the suspect with the same stick.

According to PDRM of the Jempol district, the suspect felt jealous after the victim went out with his wife not only once but multiple times, which angered him before the emotion turned to jealousy with a vengeance.

“Suspect became angry because the victim would always go out with his wife. The victim suffered injuries and is now being treated at the Jempol Hospital.”

Unfortunately, the victim also suffered a loss of around RM300 due to his damaged windshield, thanks to the handiwork of the jealous suspect.

Thanks to PDRM’s efforts, the suspect has since been detained and is now remanded. The case is being investigated according to Sections 324 and 427 of the Penal Code.

  • Section 324 refers to a case where a person voluntarily causes hurt by means of any instrument for shooting, stabbing, or cutting, or any instrument which are used as a weapon
  • Section 427 refers to mischief that causes loss or damage to the amount of RM25 or upwards.

It’s only natural to feel jealous (be it minor or major) to see your partner spending a lot of times with the opposite sex too much. Again, resorting to violence is never going to solve anything.
