We are now almost at the end of the month of Ramadan. Usually, throughout the whole month, many organisations would have dinners and events to break their fast.

Recently, a reel shared by Friends of BOMBA has gone viral as it shows how dedicated our firefighters are even when it’s time to break their fast.

According to the Facebook page, the azan had already been sounded but shortly after, the emergency bell rang as well.

The firefighters who were getting ready to eat got to action and ran to respond to the emergency as soon as they heard the sirens.

Many netizens in the comments shared how much they respect these rescuers while others shared their own stories.

“One of the only uniformed bodies that everyone respects. They always work selflessly without thinking whether they have eaten or not.”

One netizen said, “We doctors face the same thing too. When I was working at the hospital, I broke my fast with just water. Only managed to eat at 9pm.”

Some even asked others to pick BOMBA personnel as their husbands.

“If you want to find a husband candidate, choose a BOMBA personnel. He does not make enemies and is not hated by anyone.”
