This issue of the opening of movie theaters in Kelantan was once again brought up following the massive response to the local film, Mat Kilau. The absence of movie theaters in the state had caused the people of Kelantan to venture to other states in order to watch the movie.

Ahmad added that his party is also ready to examine new input and views in regards to art and culture of Kelantan, explaining that new opinions are essential towards ensuring the art and culture of Kelantan can continue to be preserved.

“In addition to input from art and industry activists, we will also take the views of scholars and the State Mufti Department if it is related to religious issues,” he shared.

Stay tuned for more updates.
