A senior citizen in Cheras was found dead in his car minutes after casting his ballot at the SJKC Batu 11 polling station.
The 79-year-old was believed to have just voted, based on the indelible ink mark on his finger.
Several passers-by noticed something was wrong with the man, who resided in Batu 9, Cheras, which prompted them to phone the police.
The deceased was then taken to the hospital.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of the deceased.
