With cases in the three-digits for a few days in a row, why lah still got people stubbornly violating RMCO?

According to reports by The Star, a total of 68 people have been compounded for violating RMCO in Bangsar yesterday. Of the 68, 65 of them were visitors at the restaurant/bar and the other 3 were the its outlet manager and two workers. All of them have been compounded RM1,000.

Assistant Commissioner Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin@Hilmi of the Brickfields OCPD said that the compounds were issued at 10.24pm yesterday. According to Zainuddin, all 68 were caught not adhering to physical distancing.

Worse, the management didn’t have a valid operating license and even failed to register their patrons.

What?! Imagine if one of them had Covid-19 and how hard it’d be to track all of the visitors!.

The Asst Comm went on to urge owners of pubs and bars to adhere to RMCO and failure to do so will result in stern action.

What do you guys think of this reckless actions by these bar visitors? Should sterner action be taken against those who violate RMCO? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
