A Chinese primary school teacher in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, did not show up for work today (June 23). No calls, no notice, and no responses to the calls from the school management led the vice principal to personally drop by the teacher’s house to check on her, as reported by China Press.
The vice principal found the teacher’s car parked outside the house and tried to call her. There was no answer, and he grew more suspicious, so he called firefighters, who then came to break down the door.

Shockingly, the teacher, Wong Shu Yun (transliteration) was found dead on her bed. She was 55.
PDRM was also informed about the matter, and it didn’t take long for officers to reach the scene. According to another report by China Press, Wong’s health was not in good condition, and she used to seek medical treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in KL.

Rembau district police Chief, Superintendent Noor Hisham, confirmed that there was no foul play in Wong’s death, and the matter has been classified as a sudden death (SDR).
Just this afternoon, SJKC Chi Wen in Bahau also announced the death on its Facebook page to grieve the loss of Wong.
“The entire school is mourning the loss. We greatly appreciate Wong’s contribution, and may she rest in peace.”
The cause of death is still being investigated, and PDRM is waiting for the autopsy report.
