A lecturer from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), who was also the daughter of a former Permaisuri state assemblyman (ADUN), tragically drowned in a resort swimming pool in Terengganu on Saturday (11 October).

The victim, Nurhazwani Abd Halim, 34, served at the Academy of Language Studies, UiTM Pahang Branch. She was confirmed dead after reportedly drowning while swimming with her husband at around 5:30 PM.
