A total of 2,688 Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) residents and their families are undergoing 14-day quarantine following the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bukit Aman managing director Datuk Ramli Din said, as reported by Bernama, of the total, seven senior officers, 72 members, three civil servants and 31 family members were confirmed positive for COVID-19.
“Those currently undergoing 14-day quarantine involve 354 senior officers, 1,926 members, 73 civil servants and 335 family members nationwide. However, this does not affect the work of the team.”
He who followed the advice of the Ministry of Health also underwent self-quarantine at home starting yesterday (15 October).
