Kudos Malaysians!

Malaysians never fail to amaze us with their talent and achievements! There has been countless times where our Malaysians have represented and excelled in international competitions.

2 student from Universiti Utara Malaysia,  Looi Pui Mun & Tan Yi Wen, made a name for Malaysia at international level by getting the highest marks in the ACCA exams.

Looi Pui Mun E1643335055891

Looi Pui Mun who is a graduate of Bachelor of Accounting (Information Systems) obtained the highest marks for the Advanced Financial Management (AFM) paper in December 2021.

The achievement places Pui Mun at 1st place in the world and in Malaysia.

“I am pleased with the achievement and did not even expect to reach that level for the final paper to complete the ACCA program.”

According to Pui Mun, despite the COVID-19 situation still not coming to an end, it does not seem like a problem for her. Instead an advantage for her to spend more time on studying after completing her internship.

Tan Yi Wen E1643335036770

Whereas, Tan Yi Wen places 1st place in Malaysia and 14th place globally!

Tan Yi Wen, is a final year student of the Bachelor of Accounting and she obtained the highest marks for the Advanced Performance Management (APM) paper December 2021.

“I was excited and surprised at the same time because I did not expect to get the highest marks in Malaysia. All the efforts have finally paid off, but there’s still a long journey for me to complete the exam papers for this ACCA program.”

Yi Wen stated that to her discipline is important to achieve such achievement. She explains that she finishes her assignments first, then proceeds to watch class recordings, review and practice questions from previous years.

We would like to congratulate both Looi Pui Mun and Tan Yi Wen for the excellent achievement. Your efforts were all worth it!
