This is not a drill, this is not a movie scene. A bloody gunfight took place in the Ulu Tiram Police Station, Johor, leading to the death of 2 police officers.
A masked intruder walked into the police station and opened fire, killing 2 officers and injuring another one in the police station. The suspect was shot to death by another officer, as confirmed by Johor Bahru’s Chief Police, Commissioner M Kumar.
The gunfight took place this morning around 2:54AM, and the suspect came in with a gun and a machete.
At the time of writing (May 17), police are still investigating the matter and finding out the motive. The bodies of the deceased persons have been sent to the hospital, and the injured officer also received treatment at the same hospital.
At the same time, the Chief of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain is headed to the crime scene.
