If you’re scared of heights, then this has got to be one of your worst nightmare!
One of the must-visit places in the state of Penang has got to be Penang Hill which offers a spectacular view of the whole island. In order to get to the top, however, one must take its famous cable car facilities which is a unique, steep train service.
Well, just yesterday, 150 passengers of the Penang cable car got to personally know how steep the track really is as they have to walk off the train mid-ride! As shared by the Facebook page Info Roadblock JPJ/Polis, the cable car train service suffered malfunction at 2.33pm yesterday with all 150 passengers inside become stuck.
Thankfully, our Malaysian heroes the firefighter was on hand to rescue them after receiving an emergency call from one of the passengers. They promptly went to Penang Hill and successfully rescued all of the stranded passengers inside the cable car train.
The cable car train malfunctioned in the middle station of Penang Hill. Most of these passengers were looking for a good time on top of the hill, but ended up with an experience that they won’t forget in their lifetime.
