Want to feel like you are on top of the world in Malaysia? Well, now you can!
Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak (KOMTAR) which proudly holds the title of the tallest building in Penang and sixth tallest building in Malaysia has been completely revamped.
The skyscraper was originally completed in 1986 and is now currently one of the hottest tourist destinations in Penang, thanks to The Top @ KOMTAR.
Offering hours of fun and excitement for the whole family, The Top is now the host to a wide range of activities and also offers a seamless bird-eye’s view of Penang from its new Observatory Deck and Rainbow Skywalk.
You will feel like you are walking on air as the open air Rainbow Skywalk is located at Level 68, right on the rooftop of KOMTAR with a glass bottom walkway at a height of 249m above ground level.
If you want to observe the surrounding view in an enclosed atmosphere, there is the Observatory Deck located at Level 65 which also features a glass walkway. For those with a fear of heights, you have been warned!
Other than the jaw-dropping views, KOMTAR has other various attractions such as the Jurassic Research Centre which is an interactive entertainment centre about the prehistoric past, Magic Mirror Maze, Ocean Explorer featuring an underwater world show, 7D Discovery Motion Theater, and many more.
Now here is another reason to plan a road trip to Penang other than to just enjoy the good food. Experience Penang like never before!
