In hopes of encouraging more Malaysians to switch from petrol and diesel vehicles to electric vehicles (EV), Tesla Malaysia has announced an EV Switcher Program with an RM10,000 incentive.

During this limited-time promo, new Tesla Model 3 and Model Y customers can receive an additional RM10,000 off when they trade-in their private internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

According to Tesla, the initiative is to allow car owners to easily replace their private ICE vehicles with Tesla’s vehicles.

Those interested can check out Tesla Malaysia’s trade-in page and enter their current vehicle’s VIN along with other vehicle details.

Meanwhile, Tesla says it offers instant online valuations for trade-ins, which would allow customers to quickly and easily assess their vehicle’s worth. The trade-in process claims to be seamless and is designed to help Malaysians switch from ICE vehicles to EVs.

For more information about the EV Switcher Program, check out Tesla Malaysia’s website. Alternatively, customers can call 1800 810 655 for more details.
