“On my first day here, in between my meetings I began my search and found the Halal Guys, but the lines were too long and I could not try it in time before my next meeting.”

“So I stumbled upon Halal Boys instead, and bought a hotdog.”

Commenting on the Tweet, one netizen responded by suggesting that Malaysians too should pave their way, expanding our culinary heritage overseas.

This netizen writes: “It is about time that we too opened our own Halal food carts overseas, instead of opening F&B businesses locally.”

Zafrul responded that expansion of the Halal industry is a focus and those interested are more than welcome to connect with @HDCmalaysia for overseas expansion.
