Youtuber Coby Persin just did a Child Predator Social Experiment and it is definitely worth the watch!
He conducted this experiment where he pretended to be a 15 year old boy on Facebook to make a point as how dangerous social media is. He made 3 random friend requests to girls each aged 12, 13 and 14 years old. Secretly organising this experiment with each of the girl’s parents, he proceeded to try to bait them. After talking to them for about 4 days, he lured them out to meet him.

As Coby himself described, “the results were shocking” and it definitely was. All 3 girls actually agreed to meet up with a supposed 15 year old boy they only met through Facebook! One even hopped into a car with him.
To their surprise, their parents appeared and although the girls got a scolding, what the parents said were pretty overwhelming.

There are over 750,000 registered child predators in the US alone. The presence of social media has allowed us to connect with people, even to the ones you don’t know.
Hopefully the experiment has at least taught the girls a lesson to never do it again, and serve as a reminder to everyone out there to keep a close watch on your kids, sister or girl friends because it was just this easy.
