When it comes to “social status”, the easiest way to flaunt your wealth, other than having out of the world parties, would be on luxury goods.
Recently a page on Facebook called Fu Er Dai has shared the watches 6 Malaysian YouTubers wear and the prices are shocking!
The 6 Malaysian content creators/Youtubers are:
-
Ms. Puiyi:
It’s safe to say that by this point, many Malaysians are familiar with this name, and given the growth of her social media platforms, there is no denying that she is becoming more well-known among Malaysians. The watch in the picture is a Rolex Datejust that costs RM39,800.
-
Lim Shang Jin:
He became popular through his YouTube channel and is arguably one of the most well-known YouTubers in the Chinese community. However, courting Gatita Yan was undoubtedly the event that catapulted him to fame. In the picture, he is wearing a Rolex Submariner (with Date), that costs RM75,000.
-
Wilbur Ng (Da Da):
As one of the most understated YouTubers who co-owns a channel with his wife Diorlynn, the price of his watch is clearly not understated. In this picture, Wilbur wears a Rolex GMT – Master II (Pepsi) that costs a whopping RM 116,000. (The author can buy 2 Perodua Myvis with his watch!)
- Charles Tee:
Following his “debut” as Dato’ Sai on Namewee’s YouTube channel, Charles has quickly rose to fame and now has his own channel that documents his life with his ex-partner Mona (who broke up with each other about a month ago). The watch that he is wearing is a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona (Black) that costs RM 151,000.
- Gatita Yan:
While she may not be a YouTuber, thanks to her “ex-partner” Lim Shang Jin and her online shop on Instagram, she has been doing really well on all her social platforms and the watch that she is wearing is a Patek Philippe 7118 watch that costs RM 359,000.
- DJ Leng Yein:
To no surprise, the big sister of the community, DJ Leng Yein tops the chart with her realness and sarcasms. The watch that she is wearing is a Richard Mille 07-01 watch that costs RM 1,250,000.
The list above is just for entertainment purposes and we also remind everyone to take it with a pinch of salt.
